At the heart of The Singtuary is a belief in singing for joy, connection and wellbeing; or, as my tagline says, connection over perfection. Studies show that singing together can have real benefits for our wellbeing, and it has become a passion of mine to create more opportunities for people to experience the joy and connection that can come from group singing.
The Singtuary offers a range of relaxed, low-pressure singing experiences, from singing sessions and circles to workshops for different ages and stages. Whether you’re a woman looking to connect with others, a parent or carer wanting to sing without having to worry about childcare, or a keen teen looking for a safe space to explore your voice and develop your group-singing skills, there is a place for you here.
For now, Singtuary gatherings will take place on a monthly basis, alongside sessions and workshops during the school holidays. Follow along to hear about upcoming circles, workshops and other opportunities to sing together.
No experience is needed and here at The Singtuary, we’re doing away with the “I can’t sing” myth! You don’t need a “perfect” voice or any previous singing experience. Join in as much or as little as you feel comfortable, and enjoy the experience of singing with others.
